In a nutshell: I'm a wife, a mom, a costume designer, a belly dancer, an administrative goddess, and an all-around geek.

If I could fit my personality into one little blurb, I wouldn't keep a journal. And if you think you know me, trust me, there is always more to discover. In fact, I am discovering new facets of myself every day.

I'm short, a little round (mostly where it counts *wink*), stubborn, loyal, paler-than-pale, a little bit Goth, a little bit Steampunk/neo-Victorian, a little bit Bohemian, a little bit beach bunny (yes, I know that heavily conflicts with the goth part...), and just a tad more than a bit crazy. I identify as pansexual and a bit genderqueer. Oh yes, and there is the hint of obsession when it comes to certain fandoms...

I love all kinds of random music from Alternative to Techno/Trance to classical to Broadway to Pop to Rock. There's not much I won't listen to. I love reading...mostly Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Historical Fiction. And occasional comics. Pretty much the same things when it comes to tv and film...though current largest obsessions are Torchwood, Doctor Who, Dollhouse, Big Bang Theory, Pirates, and anything Joker-related in the Bat-verse.

I sew. I sew a lot. I obsessively research my sewing. I also am my own worst critic and over stress about every little stitch. I watch a crapload of movies, all for the sake of “costume research”. For samples of my work, see http://ladymerriweather.tripod.com (warning: it's VERY outdated).

I currently RP The Doctor (10th, Metacrisis), Captain John Hart, The Joker, Lucius Malfoy, and Spike. I write many others. They take over my brain more often then I'd like to admit, and they are quite loud. Yes, all the voices in my head (besides my own) are currently male. Yes, I may have conversations with them in my journal occasionally.

I'm a giant cuddler. Really. All about the touchy feely. ;) With girls AND boys. Or both at the same time. With whipped cream. But really, this means hugs, linked arms, etc. I'm very tactile. This is not actually a sexual thing.

I will rarely talk about religion or politics, though I have very very strong feelings on both. If you want to know, feel free to ask. I have no problem sharing my opinion.

I have a husband. His name is Kenny. If the voices in my head are all male…most of his are female. We defy stereotypes, traditional marriage, normalcy, sanity, and labels all together. We are just Kenny and Anastasia. And we’re quirky, to say the least.

We have a daughter, Melissa. She’s smart like us, loves music and books like us…but…is super-social and looks like a Barbie clone, which is very NOT like us. She loves Buffy the Musical and Pirates and Pixies and wants to be a ballet teacher or hairdresser or Wonder Woman when she grows up. We are both very curious to see who she grows up to be…so far, she seems to be following in the family tradition of defying labeling.

Nope, can't think of anything else impressive to say. Or unimpressive, for that matter. Look at my interests. Read my journal. There ya go. ;)
